Chubb, III notified the board of directors (the “Board”) of Flowers Foods, Inc. (the “Company”) of his intention to resign from the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Chubb’s decision to resign was due to competing professional demands as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Oxford Industries, Inc., and was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the Board or the Company.
