(the \"Company\") under circumstances that the Company determined to constitute a termination without “Cause” under the terms of the Company’s Change in Control and Severance Benefit Plan (a copy of which is filed as Exhibit 10.12 to the Company's Registration Statement on Form S-1 (File No. 333-256297), filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 19, 2021). The Company has initiated a search for his successor. In the interim, responsibilities previously overseen by Dr. Go will be assumed by members of the Company's existing clinical leadership team. The transition does not affect the Company's development strategy, regulatory plans, or previously disclosed clinical timelines.
