The share is\nmeasured by net profits from the sale of production after deducting costs associated with that production.\n\n*NYMEX*—New York Mercantile Exchange.\n\n*NYSE*—New York Stock Exchange.\n\n*Plugging and abandonment*—Activities\nto remove production equipment and seal off a well at the end of a well’s economic life.\n\n*Reservoir*—A porous and permeable\nunderground formation containing a natural accumulation of producible oil and/or natural gas that is confined by impermeable rock or water\nbarriers and is individual and separate from other reservoirs.\n\n*Working interest*—The right granted\nto the lessee of a property to explore for and to produce and own oil, natural gas, or other minerals.
