Other Events.**\n\n** **\n\n*Announcement of Orphan\nDrug Designation from Japan’s MHLW for QRX003 lotion (4%) for the Treatment of Netherton Syndrome*\n\n* *\n\nOn March 11, 2026,\nthe Company announced that Japan’s MHLW has granted Orphan Drug Designation to QRX003 lotion (4%) for the treatment of Netherton\nSyndrome, a rare and severe genetic skin disorder for which there are currently no approved treatments.\n\n \n\nThe MHLW grants Orphan\nDrug Designation to medicines intended to treat rare diseases that affect fewer than 50,000 patients in Japan and for which there is high\nunmet medical need. The designation provides certain development incentives, including prioritized consultation, reduced consultation\nand application fees, tax incentives, priority review of applications, and up to 10 years of market exclusivity upon approval."}
