## Abstract

The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) is amending its assessments rule to more accurately reflect the increased costs of supervising 3-, 4-, and 5-rated institutions. As amended, OTS will compute the condition component of a savings association's assessment at 50 percent of the size component for 3-rated institutions, and 100 percent of the size component for 4- and 5-rated institutions.
