## Abstract

This document sets forth interim amendments to one of the provisions of the Customs Regulations that implement the trade benefits for Caribbean Basin countries contained in section 213(b) of the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act (the CBERA). The interim regulatory amendments involve the brassieres provision of section 213(b) and primarily reflect changes made to that statutory provision by section 3107 of the Trade Act of 2002. The specific statutory changes addressed in this document involve the minimum U.S. material content requirements that apply for purposes of preferential treatment of brassieres under the CBERA. This document also includes a number of other changes to the CBERA implementing regulations for brassieres to clarify a number of issues that arose after their original publication.
