## Abstract

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) establishes the 11,178-acre "Manton Valley" viticultural area in Shasta and Tehama Counties in northern California. The viticultural area does not lie within or contain any other established viticultural area. TTB designates viticultural areas to allow vintners to better describe the origin of their wines and to allow consumers to better identify wines they may purchase.
