Abstract
This action amends the regulation governing surety companies doing business with the United States. Specifically, it eliminates the requirement that surety companies doing business with the United States report their Federal process agent appointments to the Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS). FMS no longer needs or collects this information. This amendment makes the regulation consistent with current practice.
