## Abstract

This final rule implements the provisions of the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 with respect to the civil penalties provision of the Alcoholic Beverage Labeling Act of 1988 (ABLA). This regulation implements the statute by increasing the maximum civil monetary penalty from $10,000 to $11,000 for violations of the provisions of the ABLA.
