Abstract
The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) hereby exempts the Criminal Referral Database from certain provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. 552a (Privacy Act), to the extent the system contains investigatory material pertaining to the enforcement of laws or compiled for law enforcement purposes. The OTS is also adding a Privacy Act exemption to the Confidential Individual Information System.
