Abstract

In accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, 5 U.S.C. 552a, the Department of the Treasury gives notice of an amendment to 31 CFR 1.36 to exempt a new system of records, the Suspicious Activity Reporting System (the SAR System), Treasury/DO.212, from certain provisions of the Privacy Act.
