Abstract
On September 1, 1998, the Agencies published a final rule to amend their respective risk-based capital standards for banks, bank holding companies, and thrifts (institutions) with regard to the regulatory capital treatment of unrealized holding gains on certain equity securities (63 FR 46517). This document corrects an error in the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION section of the final rule.
