## Abstract

We are amending the Asian Longhorned Beetle regulations by expanding the quarantined area in the city of New York and in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, NY. As a result of this action, the interstate movement of regulated articles from those areas is restricted. This action is necessary on an emergency basis to prevent the artificial spread of the Asian longhorned beetle to noninfested areas of the United States.
