## Abstract

We are amending the pine shoot beetle regulations by adding counties in Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and West Virginia to the list of quarantined areas. This action is necessary to prevent the spread of pine shoot beetle, a pest of pine products, into noninfested areas of the United States. We are also making nonsubstantive revisions to the entries for Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, and Ohio to address inconsistencies in the county listings and correct misspellings.
