## Abstract

This provides notice of the Federal Subsistence Board's temporary closure and changes in harvest limits to protect moose populations in Unit 22(B), (D), and (E), and to help the recovery of deer populations in Unit 8. These regulatory adjustments and the closures provide an exception to the Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska, published in the Federal Register on June 25, 2001. Those regulations established seasons, harvest limits, methods, and means relating to the taking of wildlife for subsistence uses during the 2001-2002 regulatory year.
