Abstract
We are adopting as a final rule, without change, an interim rule that amended the Karnal bunt regulations by adding Throckmorton and Young Counties in Texas to the list of regulated areas. The interim rule, which followed the detection of bunted kernels in grain grown in this area, was necessary to prevent the spread of Karnal bunt to noninfected areas of the United States.
