Amendments to the Pale Cyst Nematode Regulations

We are amending the domestic quarantine regulations for pale cyst nematode by adding procedures that allow persons to review and comment on the protocols for regulating and deregulating quarantined and associated areas. As part of this action, we have made the protocols available online. We are taking these actions in response to a court order requiring the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service to provide a means for public input on the protocols we use to deregulate fields for pale cyst nematode and to make the protocols publicly available. These changes make the protocols accessible to all and give persons the opportunity to comment on them.
