Abstract
The Department of Agriculture (Department) is adopting as a final rule, without change, the provisions of an interim final rule authorizing expenditures and establishing an assessment rate under Marketing Order No. 981 for the 1995-96 crop year. Authorization of this budget enables the Almond Board of California (Board) to incur expenses that are reasonable and necessary to administer the program. Funds to administer this program are derived from assessments on handlers.
