Abstract
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing an interim final rule for the Highly Erodible Land and Wetland Conservation provisions of the Food Security Act of 1985, as amended. This interim final rule incorporates specific changes required by the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996 and makes other changes to improve the administration of these provisions. USDA is seeking comments from the public which will be considered prior to issuing a final rule.
