## Abstract

This rule finalizes provisions of a proposed rulemaking published on January 11, 1995. It amends Food Stamp Program rules relating to residency, social security numbers, combined allotments, excluded resources, contract income, self-employment expenses, certification periods, the notice of adverse action, recertification, and suspension. The amendments simplify regulatory requirements and increase State agency flexibility. The rule also makes several technical amendments to Food Stamp Program rules.
