Abstract

This interim final rule establishes an assessment rate for the California Olive Committee (Committee) under Marketing Order No. 932 for the 1997 fiscal year and subsequent fiscal years. The Committee is responsible for local administration of the marketing order which regulates the handling of olives grown in California. Authorization to assess olive handlers enables the Committee to incur expenses that are reasonable and necessary to administer the program.
