1890 Institution Capacity Building Grants Program; Administrative Provisions

The Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) adds a new part 3406 to Title 7, Subtitle B, Chapter XXXIV of the Code of Federal Regulations, for the purpose of administering the 1890 Institution Capacity Building Grants Program conducted under the authority of section 1417(b)(4) of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977, as amended (7 U.S.C. 3152(b)) and pursuant to annual appropriations made available specifically for an 1890 Institution Capacity Building Grants Program. This action establishes and codifies the administrative procedures to be followed annually in the solicitation of competitive proposals, the evaluation of such proposals, and the award of grants under this program.
