## Abstract

The Administrator of the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) hereby establishes policies and standards for the settlement of debts and claims owed by rural electric borrowers. In addition to establishing policies and standards for debt settlement, the rule establishes RUS policy on subsequent loans to borrowers whose debt has been restructured.
