Abstract
The Farm Service Agency (FSA) is amending its regulations regarding servicing accounts when a bankruptcy filing is dismissed. This change will clarify when a Notice of the Availability of Loan Service and Debt Settlement Programs for Delinquent Farm Borrowers will be sent to a borrower who is in or has been dismissed from bankruptcy. The intended effect of this rule is to improve the efficiency of the Agency's servicing of delinquent borrowers who have filed bankruptcy petitions.
