Electric Engineering, Architectural Services and Design Policies and Procedures

The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) is amending its regulations on engineering and architectural services. These policies and procedures are presently contained in seven RUS bulletins, which will be rescinded after this regulation becomes effective. This rule simplifies and codifies RUS policy and procedures to be followed by electric borrowers relating to architectural and engineering services. This rule also simplifies and codifies RUS requirements for the planning and design of electric distribution, transmission, and generation systems and facilities owned by RUS borrowers.
