Abstract
The Rural Business-Cooperative Service (RBS) is amending the regulations for the Intermediary Relending Program (IRP). This action is needed to clarify and revise procedures and requirements regarding a variety of issues. The amendments are expected to clarify the roles of the Government and intermediaries, make the program more responsive to the needs of intermediaries and ultimate recipients, and facilitate continuing expansion of the program.
