## Abstract

We are adopting as a final rule, without change, an interim rule that amended the Asian longhorned beetle regulations by adding three areas in and around Chicago, IL, to the list of quarantined areas and restricting the interstate movement of regulated articles from the quarantined areas. The interim rule was necessary on an emergency basis to prevent the spread of the Asian longhorned beetle to noninfested areas of the United States.
