## Abstract

This document informs interested parties of an amendment to the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937 (AMAA). A provision of the Agriculture Appropriations Bill, which was signed into law on October 22, 1999, amended the AMAA to exempt any handler operating a plant in Clark County, Nevada, from the pricing provisions of any Federal milk marketing order. The exemption is effective October 1, 1999.
