## Abstract

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is extending until January 1, 2003, the effective date of the requirements that, to bear the claim ``healthy'' or any other derivative of the term ``health,'' individual meat and poultry products can contain no more than 360 milligrams (mg) sodium, and that meal-type products can contain no more than 480 mg sodium.
