THERE IS A RECALL ON MY MERCURY MILAN 2009. LAST OCTOBER SEPTEMBER OCTOBER I TOOK MY CAR TO HOFFMAN FORD FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE RECALL ON THE AIRBAGS. AFTERWARDS I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A RAISING OF THE DASHBOARD WHERE THEY REPLACE THE AIRBAG. I BOUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION, AND THEY SAID IT WAS FROM THE GLUE THAT WAS USED. LATER A FEW MONTHS LATER I NOTICED THE AIRBAG AREA WAS EXPANDING AND FOAM WAS COMING THROUGH THE AIRBAG AREA & VENTS OVER THE.CONSUL.I CALLED FORD MANF TO REPORT THIS ISSUE. THEY SAID TO SOMEONE WILL GIVE ME A CALL BACK ,I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. ALSO AFTER THE REPLACEMENT OF THE AIRBAGS THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH MY BRAKES.THEY TOLD ME BECAUSE OF THE CAR SETTING THAT IS PROBABLY JUST RUSTY, BUT I WASN'T COMFORTABLE AND I CALLED THEM AND TOLD THEM THAT I WAS GOING TO BRING THE CAR TO THEM AND LOOK AT IT AGAIN BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS DEFINITELY WRONG. THE INVESTIGATOR WHO LOOKED AT THE CAR TO DO THE WORK FOR THE INSURANCE NOTICE THAT THE AIRBAG DOES NOT EXPAND OUT NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID ABOUT THAT BUT OBVIOUSLY THEY DIDN'T CHECK THE BRAKES BECAUSE RIGHT AFTER THAT IS WHEN THE CAR WENT TO HOFFMAN'S AND I NEVER DROVE IT AGAIN TILL THEN AND THAT'S WHEN WE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE BRAKES. NOW JUST THIS WEEK DECEMBER 25TH 2019 THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL ON THE BRAKES OF THE MERCURY MILAN 4 MM V I BELIEVE TO 2011. SO I BELIEVE THIS WAS THE REASON FOR THE ACCIDENT.
