Driver statement: âI was trying to make a turn from pine brook Rd into peace valley RD and the person coming from peace valley rd was invading my lane, so I tried to avoid him and hit a tree. I was unconscious for an unknown amount of time. When I woke up I saw smoke and I tried to remove my seat belt. It wasnât coming off at first but then I figured out how to remove it. As I left the vehicle, I was feeling light headed and dizzy. And wanted to lay on the road. Someone came for my rescue and I saw fire underneath the van. So I told him that we should move away from the van. The van caught on fire and I was taken to the hospital."
