The contact owned a 2007 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the vehicle hydroplaned in the rain, and the contact lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle flipped over the guard rail coming to a stop in the woods. The seat belt had come loose, and the air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact was transported by ambulance to the hospital for injuries sustained. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a salvaged yard and evaluated by the insurance company to be determined if totaled. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure.
