The contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V121000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE), however, the Ford dealer he purchased the vehicle from informed him that she would need to contact a Hyundai dealer to schedule a recall repair appointment. The contact stated while his wife was parking the vehicle in the driveway, the gas pedal was not depressed however the vehicle accelerated on its own and crashed into the garage door.
