2017 Honda CRV Touring 19, 647 miles. As I was approaching a red light, I stepped on my brake to slow down and brake for the red light. Upon trying to stop, I had NO BRAKE POWER WHATSOEVER. Having no brake power I could not stop, I did have an accident and hit another vehicle. My vehicle still would not stop as I continued to try and brake. I drifted approximately 1/2 mile from the accident until it fully stopped. My airbag went off and my Honda Link did contact the police and ambulance. I had minor injuries and just went to my primary physician. I do have a police report. At this time it is at an independent collision center, once repaired it will go to Honda for scanning and diagnose. I am told it can be repaired, BUT, who will diagnose why this happened, and I donât know why automatic emergency braking system didnât work.
