The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated when attempting to park, the vehicle accelerated on its own and hit the vehicle in front of them causing damage to their front driver side headlight and the grill was caved in. The contact had to depress on the brake pedal and hit the ignition switch for the vehicle to stop accelerating. No warning light's illuminated on the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. No one was injured. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an auto body shop that repaired the physical damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer who inspected the vehicle but could not diagnose the cause of the failure.
