The fire department was called to the scene and extinguished the flames. A fire report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed away. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 154,000. Fire started without key in ignition and was not running. Main damage to the car was the front bumper to the windshield.
