Narrative

The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the vehicle stalled and had a burning odor coming from the engine. The contact stated that a warning light illuminated on the instrument panel for a disconnected seat; however, the seat was connected. The dealer diagnosed the burning odor as a consistent issue with several Nissan vehicles. The failure reoccurred with several unknown warning lights illuminated; the vehicle then stalled in the middle of the street. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired but not according to the failure that was experienced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System) and related the failure to the recall. The VIN was included in the recall. The approximate failure mileage was 74,233
