Vehicle was parked in a public parking area. Engine off. No one in vehicle. Vehicle had a combustible event occur under the hood. Fire Department came to extinguish. Vehicle was declared a total loss. Vehicle was in excellent condition and well maintained ⦠no prior history of issues other than routine maintenance. No recent maintenance done under hood on vehicle. No body was hurt. Thankfully. One other vehicle was damaged ⦠plastic melted due to heat of fire on the driver side.
