The contact owned a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an unknown speed, another vehicle crashed into the front driverâs side and caused the vehicle to be pushed off the road. The air bags failed to deploy. As a result, the contactâs wife was knocked unconscious, and sustained injuries to the neck, head, traumatic brain bleed and SIAHD. Medical attention was required. The other contact suffered a collapsed lung and broken sternum. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was deemed totaled. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
