On September 21, 2022, was pulling into a parking space at my doctorâs office, had my foot on the brake, and the vehicle accelerated, jumped the curb, and hit a tree. No injuries, no other vehicles, people, or objects involved. Afterwards, the vehicle was driven without incident to the repair shop. Three days before this incident, on September 18th, the brake warning light engaged while I was driving on the freeway. At that time, there were no other vehicles in front of me in my lane. It was an early sunny Sunday morning. I had one other incident during the first year as the owner of this vehicle where the computer screen turned blue and flickered. I had to pull over, turn off my vehicle, wait a few moments, then restart. Everything was fine after that up until this last incident.Vehicle was purchased new, standard maintenance schedule has been followed, and I am the original owner.
