At the time I was going up a small hill near my house. The sprocket went out as I was going up the hill and around a corner. I lost control of the Spyder. It went off the road. I was only traveling about 20-25 miles an hour. The bike is now sitting in Sacramento at Elk Grove Powersports, where it was originally purchased. I don’t know what is wrong with it besides the sprocket since it went off the road. I was not hurt. My bike may have been. I had a neighbor tow it out of the ditch it landed in. It has been over six months that I have not had use of my Spyder, no repair parts available, no information, don’t know if it runs now. I want to know where I can serve small claims papers for this problem. I have actually spoken to a class-action attorney who will take my case. I have found several other Spyder owners dealing with this recall with no resolution in site who are willing to file with me. Please call me at [XXX]. I just want to know where to serve these papers. Please. I have repeatedly asked BRP where I would file these papers or report the incident, and I have gotten either the wrong information or no information at all. Today I received another “Important Safety Recall Notice” regarding the same issue that basically states the same thing the notice in May 2022 stated. There still is no resolution to this problem.
