The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that while driving at 35 MPH, the front driver seat headrest was deployed without warning or impact. The headrest hit the back of the contact's head which caused pain to his head, back, and neck. The contact did not seek medical treatment. The dealer was initially contacted and he was given an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired.
