The contact owned a 2014 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that his daughter had veered off the road while driving at 40 MPH. As she attempted to correct the vehicle, the vehicle rolled over several times and landed in a ditch. The air bags did not deploy. The fire department and ambulance arrived at the scene and his daughter was taken to the hospital. The contact was informed that police were not needed at the scene; therefore, a police report was not filed. The contact's daughter was treated at the hospital for both neck and head trauma as well as injuries to her left leg, left wrist, and left middle finger. The vehicle was initially towed to an independent tow yard but was later towed to an inspection station by his insurance where it was deemed a total loss. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but did not offer any assistance. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure mileage was 106,000.
