The contact owned a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while pulling out of a parking lot and attempting to make a left turn, another vehicle crashed into the front driver' side of the vehicle and damaged the entire front end of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact hit her head on the steering wheel. The contact sustained pain on the left side of the body and was transported to the hospital with the assistance of emergency units, but was not diagnosed. The contact sought assistance from a chiropractor, who informed her that she had sustained a left neck and shoulder sprain. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, and was then towed to a salvaged lot, where it was totaled. The dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because she had signed over the vehicle to a salvaged yard.
