The contact owned a 2016 Fiat 500X. The contact stated that while her son was driving at 65 MPH, a trailer crossed into his middle lane which forced the vehicle off the road and into the median. The air bags did not deploy as the other driver fled the scene. The contact stated that her son had sustained frequent headaches after the accident but had yet to seek medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was initially towed to an independent tow yard and then to an insurance center where they deemed the vehicle a total loss.
