We were driving about 35 mph when the car suddenly beeped a warning âbrakesâ while simultaneously SLAMMING on the brakes. There was a metal construction plate on the roadway at the place where the incident occurred. My left wrist was injured as it was bent back by the steering wheel, my wife wasnât watching the road and is complaining of neck pain/strain. We feel very lucky there was no one behind us at the time.
