The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated while driving at 60 MPH, the steering wheel failed to turn and became stiff. The contact attempted to turn to the left for a curve however the steering wheel failed to turn to the left. The "power steering service drive with care" warning message was illuminated. As a result, the contact crashed into the guard rail on the side of the road causing damage to the entire passenger side of the vehicle. No one was injured. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who determined that there was no failure. The contact mentioned that the failure continued where there was no power steering. The vehicle was not repaired.
