The contact stated that while accelerating at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated, the contact then stated that he depressed the brake pedal however, the vehicle failed to stop. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a tree. The contact sustained an injury to the head that required medical attention at the ER. At the time of the crash, the contacts two children were in the vehicle. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the contactâs residence by the contactâs tractor. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but the contact had not received a response.
