The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V431000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the dealer was unable to set a recall appointment until the end of the month. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact was recently in reverse (R) backing up an alley at 3 MPH when the rear view camera failed. The contact crashed into a concrete bollard and dented the rear left fender behind the rear left wheel well. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue.
