The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 MPH there would be a loud noise emitting from the rear-end of the vehicle that seemed as if the vehicle was running rough. The contact stated that while being idle at a red light the vehicle suddenly surged forward crashing into the vehicle in front. The air bags in the front and rear of the vehicle deployed on both the driver and passenger side. The vehicle was towed and deemed totaled. A police report was made. The contact received an injury to their stomach, knee, and hip bone. A passenger in the vehicle received neck and back injuries. Medical attention was needed.
